Furkan Bayoğlu

Furkan Bayoglu is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience across real estate, investment, and business development in Turkey, Europe, and the United States.

After graduating from Istanbul Technical University, Furkan began his career in his family’s textile business before transitioning into commercial real estate. He quickly built a strong track record as a broker, spearheading landmark office and logistics projects including Unilever Headquarters—the first LEED-certified office building in Turkey—as well as Buyaka, Business Istanbul, Akplaza, and numerous other high-profile developments.

Recognized for his innovative strategies, Furkan has successfully restructured and marketed financially distressed projects, creating long-term value for investors and partners. Internationally, he has developed projects in Florida—notably in Miami’s Design District and Edgewater—and expanded his investment footprint into Bulgaria.

Together with his wife Sema, he co-founded Sevent, one of Turkey’s leading event management companies. Building on this success, Furkan and his long-time business partner Taner Kalak established Sevent Group, which has become a key office space operator in Turkey. Their core business continues to focus on investing in distressed assets, restructuring, and liquidating them for maximum return.

Beyond business, Furkan is committed to education and philanthropy. Through a foundation established in his father’s name, he supports engineering students with scholarships and mentorship programs.
